
NIA conducted raids in AP and Telangana in connection with PFI
New Delhi: NIA conducted raids on Sunday in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in connection with a case against PFI. According to the official sources, NIA conducted raids in 40 locations in AP and Telangana for allegedly running training camps to commit terror acts and promote enmity between groups on the basis of religion.
According to the NIA official sources, four people were detained for questioning during the searches carried out at 38 locations in Telangana and two in AP. Incriminating materials, including digital devices, documents, two daggers and over Rs 8.31 lakh cash were seized during the operation.
Four accused Abdul Kader, Sheikh Sahadulla, Mohd Imran and Mohd Abdul Mobin were arrested by NIA. A case was registered on July 4th at the Nizamabad police station in Telangana and during investigations by the state police. Later, the case was re-registered by the NIA on August 26th to carry forward the probe.
