NIA conducted search raids Andhra Pradesh in case linked to PFI

Vijayawada: NIA conducted raids on the residences of suspected PFI activists on Sunday in at least four districts of Andhra Pradesh. Locals raised slogans against searches and tried to stop the NIA officials and mild tension prevailed in the localities. Local police ensured that the situation does not go out of hand.

NIA conducted raids in Nellore, Nandyal, Kadapa and Guntur districts in AP. Police suspected that PFI had given training to some locals in martial arts and used to give provocative speeches.
