PFI’s 42 offices sealed in Karnataka under UAPA

Bengaluru:  42 offices of PFI were sealed across Karnataka by the police on Thursday. According to the Alok Kumar, Additional Director General of Police (Law & Order) the offices of the PFI, Campus Front of India, All India Imam Council and Rehab India Foundation were closed.

According to the sources the search teams raided more than 50 places linked to PFI’s affiliates across the state on Wednesday and Thursday. Centre had directed the states to take necessary steps to execute the order and the State Government had also issued orders to deputy commissioners and police heads of all districts.

Four places in Bengaluru were notified as under UAPA and were sealed. While 38 offices were sealed by the police in other districts. As many as 12 offices were closed in Mangaluru, nine in Udupi, seven in Dakshina Kannada and four in Kalaburagi.
