Neeraj Chopra created a history by winning 1st Gold Medal in track and field event at Tokyo Olympics as he throwed javelin at a distance of 87.58 mts. He was working as Naib Subedar. His win at Tokyo Olympics assures him of promotion to Subedar Major, a rank attained after 30 years of service, and institutional support for his career.
