Bengaluru:  Kannada Superstar Puneeth Raj Kumar’s last rites performed at Kanteerava Studio in Bengaluru near his father’s grave on Sunday. Karnataka Government conducted his last rites with State honour.

Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai saluted the slain of Puneeth on Sunday at Kanteerava Studio. The mortal remains will be taken in procession to Kanteerava Studio, located 11.7 km away where Puneeth will be cremated. Puneet had no sons and was buried with his brother Raghavendra’s son Vinay.

The untimely death of Puneet Rajkumar a close relative of millions a distinguished actor and a child star of the Kannada film industry has plunged the people of the state into deep tragedy. Millions of people flocked to the scene on Saturday to learn of his impending demise.
