Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Tourism and Sports Minister RK Roja has decided to approach Supreme Court seeking action against former minister Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy for his filthy and derogatory  remarks on her.

Several actresses from Tollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood extended their solidarity to Minister Roja and they demanded apology for filthy and derogatory comments made by former Minister against Minister Roja publicly.

Actresses Radhika, Meena, Ramya Krishna, Kavitha and MP Navaneeth Kaur demanded apology from former Minister Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy for his derogatory remarks on Roja.

Actress Radhika said that if you branded the actress as prostitute or any other derogatory statements are unethical. We never afraid of your comments, we will fight for justice, she added. You know the facts of your family when you are outside the house, she said.

Minister RK Roja said that she would file a criminal and civil defamation case against the Bandaru. Speaking to mediapersons on Sunday, she said that I have not seen person like Bandaru, who made such derogatory remarks against a woman, in my entire life. It only makes one question his upbringing and the respect he shows for women in his own family and that of his constituency.

Getting bail does not mean the accused is not guilty. Stricter laws need to be made to ensure that those who badmouth a woman are jailed immediately, said Roja.
