Bhopal: The BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan sworn-in-as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh on Monday evening. The Maharashtra governor Lalji Tandon administered the oath with Shivraj Singh Chouhan at a simple ceremony in the Raj Bhavan late on Monday evening.

He was elected as the fourth time Chief Minister to the state. The BJP LP unanimously elected Chouhan as its leader on Monday evening. The BJP National General Secretary Incharge of Madhya Pradesh affairs Vinay Sahashra Buddhe who was one of the two observers to oversea election of BJP LP leader in Madhya Pradesh was elected through with in a video conference.

It is the first time in the country to elect a leader through a video conference. Governor administered the oath with only one person as a Chief Minister. Later Chouhan will expand his cabinet. Shivraj Singh was born on March 05, 1959 in Budhni in Sehore Dist, in Madhya Pradesh. He was started his politics with his college days through ABVP.

He was associated him with RSS at the age of 13. He was assumed as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh first time on November 02, 2005 and continued in office till December 17, 2008.
