New Delhi: Supreme Court constitutional bench delivered a landmark judgement on SC sub- classification in education and employment in the country.

The constitutional bench headed by Supreme Court Chief Justice Y.V. Chandrachud gave this judgement with 6:1 ratio, the only Justice Bela Trivedi differs the opinion of the judgement with other Judges. The Judge opposed the sub-classification of the Sc’s only.

The Supreme Court in his judgement directed the States to make the appropriate guidelines to SC sub- classification in reservations, according to the circumstances of the social justice. The Supreme Court squashed the order of the single Judge delivered in 2004 judgement against the SC sub-classification. The constitutional bench that delivered the SC sub-classification bench headed by Chief Justice Y.V. Chandrachud, along with Justices B.R. Gawai, Pankaj Mittal, Vikram Nath, Satish Chandra, Manoj Mishra and Bela Trivedi.
