Panjshir: Talibans declared that Panjshir province has been fully conquered. There are also allegations that Taliban militants have invaded the Governor’s residence in Panjshir province and raised their flag.

The resistance forces have disputed the Taliban’s claim of having conquered Panjshir. They stated that they are up on the mountains and defending themselves. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, a handful of resistance force members was captured and majority fled. He stated that Panjshir’s oppressed and noble people have been freed from captivity.
