Talks with employees’ union leaders hopeful to resolve on PRC: Sajjala
Vijayawada: Government Advisor for Public Affairs and a member in the Committee of Ministers Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that the talks with the delegation of employees were held in a cordial atmosphere on Friday evening.
The seven hour long meeting will be hopeful to resolve the agitation of the employees on the implementation of PRC and minimize the reasons for their dissatisfaction as much as possible. The Committee of Ministers and the Trade Unions negotiated positively towards the cessation of the workers’ movement. The unions point out that the Committee of Ministers has responded positively to some of the key issues they are seeking. The committee made it clear that negotiations were going on to succeed. The Committee of Ministers said it was trying to rectify employee dissatisfaction and would make a final decision in line with the aspirations of employees by Saturday.
Sajjala said that we wanted to be very generous to the employees, as Covid – 19 was not able to give as much as they had hoped. We tried to rectify the dissatisfaction among them.We will discuss these issues again at 2 pm on Saturday and make a final decision. We will continue the friendly atmosphere that the Government has with the employees in the future.
Bugna Rajendranath Reddy, Perni Nani, Government Adviser Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Chief Secretary to Government Sameer Sharma, GAD Chief Secretary Shashi Bhushan KumarPRC practice committee steering committee members Bandi Srinivasa Rao, Suryanarayana, K Venkatrami Reddy and Bopparaju Venkateshwar had a six hour long discussion with 16 others.The talks lasted for 6 hours from 7 pm to 1 am. At first the Committee of Ministers suggested that they put their views before the unions and speak on them. The union leaders met separately at the secretariat to discuss the issue. After that, they met with the ministers again.
The Committee of Ministers told the unions that they were positive about the HRA and IR recovery issues.Botsa Satyanarayana, Member of the Committee of Ministers said that It was decided to hold full scale talks once again on Saturday at Velagapudi Secretariat.
