Hyderabad: Telangana Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy accepted the resignation of former Telangana Medical & Health Minister Eatala Rajender on Saturday afternoon.

He submitted his resignation as an MLA to Assembly Secretary on Saturday morning. He submitted his resignation in the Speaker format, that’s why Speaker accepted without any delay.

After submitting the resignation in the Speaker’s office, he paid floral tributes to Telangana martyrs at the Martyrs’ Memorial at Gun Park located opposite the Assembly.

Speaking to the media persons after his resignation, Rajender said that his agenda was to end the feudal rule of K Chandrasekhar Rao in Telangana and cited the same as the reason for joining BJP. He is all set to join BJP on June 14^th in New Delhi in the presence of BJP National President JP Nadda.

He was sacked from the Cabinet a month ago, following allegations of grabbing assigned lands against him and the State Government ordered a probe on it.
