Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail limited to permit women to carry pepper spray while travelling on the metro. As per the MD HMRL N V S Reddy, after the incident Disha’s Gang Rape and Murder, HMRL received request from the women.

        It was allowed in the Bengaluru Metro recently, now the Hyderabad Metro Rail limited also permitted the women and ladies to carry pepper sprays for their self defence mechanism. Instructions have been issued to the operator, said N V S Reddy.
