Hyderabad: Ugadi festival is celebrating on the first day of the month Chaitram as per Telugu Calendar. The people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are celebrating Krodhi Nama Ugadi festival.

As per the Telugu culture there are 60 years are named from the beginning of the Prabhava to Akshaya. These years are coming in a circular manner. This year Telugu people celebrating Krodhi Nama Ugadi which is the 38 number in the Telugu years. People will perform poojas to the God of Sun, who is the celestial movement of the Kala Chakra.
