Munugode: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday alleged that TRS Government is implementing anti-farmer policies in the State and also thrown the State into a debt trap despite over Rs 2 lakh crore help from the Union Government.

Munugode former MLA K Rajagopal Reddy joined BJP on Sunday in the presence of Amit Shah at a public meeting in Munugode, who resigned to Congress party from Munugode in the recent months.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah speaking at a public meeting said that KCR’s Government countdown starts with this bye-poll. He announced that K Rajagopal Reddy as the BJP candidate for Munugode bye-polls. He made sharp alleges on KCR for not fulfilling his promises including that his party will make a Dalit Chief Minister.

He will make his son K T Rama Rao as the next Chief Minister of Telangana if TRS comes into power in 2024 elections, Shah said. KCR had promised to the people of Telangana that he will send Rs 10 lakh to every Dalit household and give three acres of land in the State to every Dalit and one acre of land to every tribal. But he has not fulfilled even a single promise, he added.

The State Government is committing a sin by not letting farmers get the benefits of the PM Fasal Bhima Yojana and asserted the BJP will ensure every grain of paddy is procured from farmers if it comes to power in the state, he said. I promise if the BJP is voted to power in 2024 elections, Telangana will also be developed like other States in the country, he added.

Shah alleged the TRS government was not celebrating September 17th as Liberation Day as promised due to fear of the Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM. The BJP will hold the celebrations if it comes to power. He said the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation project has become an ATM for KCR’s family.
