Trump Declares Covid-19 as National Emergency

Washington: US President Donald Trump declared a national emergency over the Covid-19 on Saturday. He sanctioned $ 50 Billion in federal funds to combat the fast spreading pandemic that has killed over 5000 people and triggered fears that the deadly out way will lead to a global economic recession.

Covid-19 killed globally nearly 5000 people, including 41 in America has spread to 48 states in USA out of 50 states, with nearly 2000 cases being reported from across the country. Trump said to the media person at the Rose Garden in the white house, in could get worse, or critical. Trump also said that to unleash the full power of the federal government today he officially declaring a national emergency.

A rarely used residential power, allows the federal emergency management agency to assist state and a local governments and coordinate the nation’s response to the crisis. He also asked every state to setup emergency operation centers immediately. The emergency orders conferred broad new authority to the secretary of health and human services, and gives doctors, hospitals and health care centres maximum flexibility to respond to the virus and care for patience’s, he said.
