TTD celebrated Malayappa’s Garudotsavam at Tirumala on Sunday on the 4th day of Brahmotsavam: 2 lakhs people attended
Tirumala: TTD celebrated Malayappa’s Garudotsavam at Tirumala on Sunday on the 4th day of Brahmotsavam. Tirumala temple and four Mada streets and entire Tirumala decorated with colour lights, flowers in a grand manner.
The TTD organized cultural programs and other hindu related programs in Mada streets on the Malayappa’s Garudotsavam. Malayappa was incarnate as Lord Sri Krishna along with Goddess Rukmini and Goddess Satyabhama procession statues were brought into the Mada streets with vedic rituals. The Lord Sri Krishna was shown as killing the demon Bakasura.
Nearly 2 lakh people attended the procession on the eve of Malayappa’s Garudotsavam. TTD officials made elaborate arrangements and civic amenities for the pilgrims. TTD supplies pulihora and tomato bath pockets to the pilgrims who are waiting to watch the procession of Malayappa’s Garudotsavam in the Mada streets. And also the TTD opened free meals sections at Mata Vengamamba building from morning 10 am to late night 2 am on Sunday.
