TTD laid foundation stone for Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Jammu

Jammu: Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam (TTD) of Andhra Pradesh laid a foundation stone for the construction of the Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Majeen village near Jammu on Sunday.

Jammu & Kashmir Administration allotted 62.06 acres of land at Majeen village for the construction of Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple and its infrastructure. The Temple’s Administration under the TTD will also manages the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh.

J & K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Union Ministers G. Kishan Reddy, Jitendra Singh, TTD Trust Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy, and other board members, AP Legislatures also attended the ceremony.

Many local political leaders, civil and police officers and heads of urban local bodies and Panchayati Raj institutions were also part of the event.

The TTD will construct building for the temple, amenities for pilgrims, a Veda Patashala, a spiritual and meditation centre, an office, residential quarters and parking in the allotted land in Majeen village.
