TTD will allow 15k devotees to Tirumala temple from May 1st

Tirumala: The TTD administration is going to restrict the darshan of Tirumala Balaji to 15k devotees per day from May 1st onwards due to Covid – 19 surge. The TTD is also gearing up to introduce certain instructions due to the second wave of Covid – 19 are scaling new heights.

According to the temple Deputy E.O Harindranath, now 25k devotees are allowing for darshan per day, it is going to restrict to 15 from May 1st onwards. The Deputy E.O said that even though 25k people per day who have reserved their Sheeghra Darshan tickets are allowed till April 30th.

Now the number of devotees visiting the temple has already fallen to 10K to 12k due to the Covid – 19 rapid surge. He also said that the tickets for May have been released. Meanwhile, with a night curfew in place in Tirupati police diverted the traffic to Tirumala through by-pass roads.
