Tirumala: The TTD administration is going to restrict the darshan of Tirumala Balaji to 15k devotees per day from May 1^st onwards due to Covid – 19 surge. The TTD is also gearing up to introduce certain instructions due to the second wave of Covid – 19 are scaling new heights.

According to the temple Deputy E.O Harindranath, now 25k devotees are allowing for darshan per day, it is going to restrict to 15 from May 1^st onwards. The Deputy E.O said that even though 25k people per day who have reserved their Sheeghra Darshan tickets are allowed till April 30^th.

Now the number of devotees visiting the temple has already fallen to 10K to 12k due to the Covid – 19 rapid surge. He also said that the tickets for May have been released. Meanwhile, with a night curfew in place in Tirupati police diverted the traffic to Tirumala through by-pass roads.
