Hyderabad: 32^nd South Zone Aquatic Championship was held in GMC Balayogi Aquatic Complex at Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad on Friday. Telangana won seven medals and Andhra Pradesh won two medals in the medal tally.

In the Girls 400m Freestyle for 12-14 years old Vritti Agarwal won silver medal among the swimmers from Telugu states. Vritti clocked (4:54:90) to end second behind Karnataka’s Ashmita Chandra (4:53:29). K. Sanjana clinched bronze medal (4:55:40) in the same event.
