YS Jagan launched AP Service Portal 2.0
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched AP Service Portal 2.0, (AP Citizen Services Portal) portal from his camp office Tadepalli on Thursday. YS Jagan said AP Service Portal 2.0 will increase better services and transparency in the State.
Speaking on the occasion YS Jagan said that we launched AP Service Portal to bring about changes to provide better services and transparency. More than 540 Government services will be accessed on a single platform in the village and ward secretariats. Now things are done faster through the new portal set up with the latest technology.
YS Jagan said that the AP Government brought 35 types of services related to revenue and land administration, 25 services related to municipalities, six services related to civil supplies, three services related to rural development and over 53 services related to the power sector under AP Service Portal.
We provide the opportunity for the applicant to apply not only from their nearest secretariat but also from anywhere. If you apply in one place and applicant can also receive the certificate from another place. If the application is rejected, the reasons will be stated. All such facilities are also available through the AP service portal, Jagan added.
YS Jagan said that the wide range of services provided by the new software eliminates the need for people to wander around offices for the certificates and documents. There is no need to bribe anyone. Transparency will increase and corruption will go away. People have the flexibility to track their application. Coordination between the officers and staff of the respective departments will increase.
AP service portal will help the village and ward secretariats to function better in the days to come, he said. AP service portal is an important hub between Government departments and the people. Fees can be paid with the help of AP service portal. The option of UPI, QR code scanning, cash payment or online payment is available, he said.
YS Jagan said that we are fully digitizing all the services. From the employees of the village and ward secretariats to the zonal level, municipalities, district level and top level employees of the state secretariat all work on a single digital platform.
Thereby further increasing accountability among employees. Every employee’s digital signature is visible to everyone. If not, the above authorities and applicants may question why it was not done. There will be no delay in the issuance of certificates and documents. There will be no corruption, he added.
Panchayati Raj & Rural Development Minister Peddireddy Rama Chandra Reddy, Municipal & Urban Development Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, Chief Secretary Dr Sameer Sharma and other senior officials attended the meeting.
