Hyderabad: The Telangana Police foiled the protest indefinite hunger strike of YSRTP Supremo YS Sharmila at 1 am on Sunday. She was shifted to Apollo hospitals for treatment due to her health deterioration due to indefinite hunger strike.

She took the indefinite hunger strike, on the grounds of police denied permission to continue her Padayatra from where she was stopped. She got permission from Telangana High Court to continue Padayatra, but the police denying permission to her to continue her Padayatra showing the cause of Law and Order problem.

She staged indefinite hunger strike from Friday onwards, but the police foiled her protest indefinite hunger strike on the second day. She refused to take treatment in the hospital.
