Shafali Beats Scahin’s Record

Gros Islet: Shafali Verma (15) became the youngest Indian cricketer to score a half-century in International cricket on Sunday. Shafali Verma also surpassed Sachin Tendulkar’s 30 year old record, when she scored 73 in 49 balls against West Indies on Sunday.   

    Shafali Verma achieved this feat at 15 years and 285 days, while Sachin Tendulkar reached this feat at 16 years and 214 days.
