
A.I, Blockchain, Robotics are Telangana top priority: KTR
Hyderabad: Telangana IT and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao officially launched state Government’s year of A.I (Artificial Intelligence) and website on Thursday. In his address in a meeting Minister KTR discloses the state Government plans to conduct various events and deploy various projects by using A.I in 2020.
In this meeting along with KTR Principal Secretary of IT Jayesh Ranjan exchanged memorandum of understanding (MoU) with seven organizations i.e. Intel, IIT-H, IIT Kharagpur, NVIDIA, Adobe, Hexagon and NASSCOM. These organizations are expected to work with Government in fields such as applied health care, smart mobility, data sciences and skill development. The Government had always given importance to Engineering technologies such as A.I, Blockchain and Robotics, he said.
We launched our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) policy in 2016 in an attempt to leader in engineering technologies, he said. We formulated policy frame works for Blockchain, drones, cyber security and e-waste, said KTR. He said that today Telangana is ranked as one of the top states in Blockchains in terms of adoption by Government and on the presence of the eco-system.
