Dubai: Team India won the DP World Asia Cup – 2025 final by defeating Pakistan by 5 wickets held at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. Team India beat Pakistan for the 3rd time in the DP World Asia Cup – 2025.
India won the toss and chose to field first. Pakistan scored 146/10 in 19.1 overs with the top scorer Sahibzada Farhan with 57 runs in 38 balls. Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets and conceded 30 runs in four overs. Axar Patel, Varun Chakravarthy and Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets each.
India scored 147/5 in 19.4 overs and clinched the DP World Asia Cup – 2025. Tilak Verma is the top scorer with 69 runs with 53 balls. Tilak Verma’s partnership with Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube helped India to win Asia Cup-2025.
Tilak Verma won the Player of the Match and Abhisekh Sharma won Player of the Tournament in the Asia Cup-2025.
India team decided not to take Asia Cup – 2025 after winning it from ACC Chief Mohsin Naqvi. The decision sparked a delay in the post-match presentation, with Pakistani players also staying put in their dressing room, adding to the chaos inside the Dubai International Stadium.
Later, Indian players could be seen celebrating without the trophy, with Suryakumar Yadav doing the celebration run, as if he was holding the trophy.
