New Delhi: Delhi police detained CJP Chief Abhijeet Dipke, legal team head Ratna Singh, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka after the flight landed at New Delhi airport on Saturday.

CJP in a statement condemned the alleged detentions, calling them part of a pre-planned move to prevent its leaders from reaching the protest site. CJP described the action as violation of freedom of movement and demanded the immediate and unconditional release of the CJP Chief Abhijeet Dipke, legal team head Ratna Singh, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka.

CJP released a video showing Singh sitting inside a car surrounded by several police personnel. CJP decided to protest at Jantar Mantar in vote chori against CEC Gyanesh Kumar.
