
Nitish expelled Prasanth, Pavan from JD (U)
Patna: The JD (U) President, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expelled two senior leaders of the party on Wednesday. Among them the JD (U) Vice-President and election strategist to the various political parties in the country Prasanth Kishore and another leader Pavan Verma on disciplinary grounds.
The two expelled leaders were quick to hit back Nitish Kumar, they wished him to retain the Chief Minister’s chair in Patna. The move comes a day after Prasanth Kishore openly revolted against the Chief Minister and called him a liar for claiming that he was inducted into the JD (U) on the advice of Amit Shah. The two leaders were directly opposing the issue of the CAA, NPR and NRC caused angry to Nitish Kumar. They also urged the Chief Minister to reconsider his decision to support the CAA.
The differences deepened recently Pavan Verma sought ideological clarity from Chief Minister over the alliance with the BJP in Delhi. After soon the expulsion, Prasanth Kishore in his tweet said that ‘Thank You Nitish Kumar, my best wishes to you remain the Chair of Chief Minister of Bihar’.
