Vijayawada: Vijayawada Commissioner of Police booked an attempt to murder case against Krishna Lanka CI Nagaraju in connection with alleged custodial death of Sai Krishna in Krishna Lanka police station at Vijayawada.

Vijayawada CP Rajasekhar Babu called the victim’s mother Vijayalakshmi on Thursday midnight, after consoling victim’s mother and warning the Government officials. CP himself took the complaint from the victim’s mother and booked a case against CI Nagaraju and issued an FIR no. 107/2026, under BNS sections 127 (4), 127 (6) and 103 (1) and BNSS section 238.
