Simona Halep won Wimbledon title
“She played out of her mind, I was like a deer in the head lights”, Serena Williams said.
London: Romanian tennis player Simona Halep won Wimbledon Women’s single final against her rival American top seed Serena Williams on Saturday. She won sensationally against Serena Williams, a seven times Wimbledon champion with 6-2, 6-2.
She won the game on Serene Williams in a 56 minutes Wimbledon final. Serena was undone by 26 unforced errors to Halep two. She may have kept Halep waiting to go on court but if she hoped that would upset her opponent. It did quite the opposite on centre court.

After winning the title Halep sank to her knees a broad smile on her face before rising to hear Serena. After the defeat in Wimbledon championship on Saturday Serena bluntly admitted. She had not been at the races against a superior opponent. “She played out of her mind, I was like a deer in the head lights”, she said.
