Nashik: Nashik police arrested TCS HR Manager and seven other employees on the allegations of religious conversion and sexual harassment. The police conducted an undercover operation to bust the conspiracy

According to the police sources the accused had carried out this conspiracy with a well-planned approach to targeting newly recruited employees. The accused is being members of the training team TCS, Nashik branch. They would collect details of newly recruited employees. They would target those who were financially weak and facing family problems. During the training, they would make derogatory comments about Hindu gods and goddesses and mentally disturb them.

HR manager Nida Khan, would approach the affected employees and gain their trust by pretending to be sympathetic. It was found that they would gradually motivate them to change their lifestyle and diet. Under their influence, the authorities found that a female employee had a fight with her family and removed the photos of God in the house.

Nashik police in their undercover operation they sent women constables disguised as housekeeping staff and kept an eye on the activities of the accused. The arrests were made only after the allegations were confirmed through this operation. Investigation revealed that the accused also ran a WhatsApp group to discuss targets and talk about religious extremism.

Asif Ansari, Shafi Sheikh, Shahrukh Qureshi, Raza Memon, Tausif Attar and two others were arrested in this case. The SIT formed in this matter is also investigating the allegations of sexual harassment.
