New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reduced Rs. 200/- on all LPG connection holders and Rs. 400/- for the Ujjwala LPG connection holders with immediate effect.

The Union Cabinet under the Chairmanship of PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday took the decision to reduce in the prices of cooking gas cylinders. After the cabinet meeting PM Modi said that this will give a lot of convenience to all my sisters and family members on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.

Modi in his tweet said that he wishes that all his sisters remain happy and healthy. The cabinet also announced 75 lakh new connections under the Ujjwala Scheme.

The opposition parties alleged that the Union Cabinet reduced Rs. 200/- on LPG cylinders is a plan to gain in the forth coming 5 States elections which was scheduled this year only. The oppositions also expecting early Lok Sabha polls along with these States election. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and West Bengal CM Mamatha Benarjee already commented on Tuesday.
