Tirupati: Mithun Reddy, Rajampeta MP said that I was treated as a terrorist in Rajamundry Central Jail. He was arrested in liquor scam and spent 71 days at Rajamundry Central Jail.

He was released on bail on 29th September, 2025. Speaking with the media persons on Wednesday at Tirupati he shared his ill treatment in the jail as per the directions of the Government. The jail authorities allotted him barrack and not allowed a single person to speak with him even the jail authorities also afraid to speak with him.

I am the lonely person in the barrack. The Government is implemented the vendetta politics on me and arrested with a false motto in the liquor scam. Whenever the TDP is in power they tried to harass our family due to political rivalry. In the previous years 2014 to 2019 they implicated false cases against me and put me behind bars, he said.

He finally warned that we never go back from the politics; we stand firmly with YSRCP Chief YS Jagan and for the party sake. Neither YSRCP activists nor any leader of the YSRCP never afraid of the Government harassment and they will strive for the party with double strength, he said. He urged the media persons to go through the bail order and the findings of the Court, how the Government implicated a false case against him.
