Vijayawada: YSRCP President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced a week-long protest campaign from June 4th to June 12th against the two years of Chandrababu Government failures.

He convened a party leaders and cadre meeting on Wednesday at the YSRCP headquarters at Tadepalli. In his address at the meeting he directed the party leaders and cadre to take part in the week long protest against the betrayal of CBN’s Government public trust and failing to deliver on its election promises.

He released a protest booklet titled Vennupotuku Trendu and directed cadres to distribute it widely across households in the State. He explained a phased agitation plan beginning with demonstrations at Mandal centres on June 4th.  The party workers will burn copies of the Coalition’s election manifesto and bonds. Townhall meetings will follow on June 8th and 9th at constituency headquarters, bringing together farmers, women, and youth to deliberate on what he described as two years of anti-people governance. The campaign will culminate on June 12th with large-scale rallies.

In view of the upcoming local body elections, he urged party leaders to contest every seat aggressively and warned against uncontested victories for rivals. He stressed that any unanimous win by the ruling coalition would be treated as a failure of the local in-charge and would invite disciplinary action.
