TGSRTC Workers JAC’s started indefinite strike from Tuesday midnight (Wednesday) in all depots to solve their 32 problems
Hyderabad: TGSRTC Workers JAC’s started indefinite strike from Tuesday midnight (Wednesday) in all depots to solve their 32 problems. The four hour long talks between TGSRTC JAC members and IAS officers were not fulfilled on Tuesday evening forced the employees to go on indefinite strike.
The Government asked four months time to resolve their issues, but the JACs rejected the Government’s proposal. The TGSRTC buses in all depots were stalled and no buses allow going on the road. The passengers are suffering due to the RTC Workers strike to go their destinations. The auto and private cabs are charging more than the usual rates to engage the autos.
The JAC leaders are demanding the Government to resolve three main issues instead of 32 demands which they gave on their strike notice. The main demands are to merge RTC into Government, to appoint PRC and to revive the unions officially in RTC.
The Government is trying to take alternate measures to run the buses for the convenience of the passengers by recruiting temporary drivers and conductors.
