Mumbai: Bollywood veteran writer Javed Akhtar submitted a complaint before the Andheri Magistrate Court against actress Kangana Ranaut alleging she had made defamatory statements against him to news channels.

The complaint accusing Ranaut of harming Akhtar’s reputation was submitted citing IPC sections 499 and 500. Two other complaints have also been filed against Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel for allegedly making communally charged statements.
