This film was directed by Prasanth Neel, actress Shruti Haasan, actor Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj  Sukumaran, Eeshwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy acted in main roles in this movie.

Salaar movie was produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner. This movie will be in two-parts. The 1^st part titled Salaar: Chapter-1 – Ceasefire, will be release in theaters worldwide on September 28^th, 2023.
