ACB arrested Keesara Tehsildar and three others: seized Rs. 1. 10 crore cash

Hyderabad: ACB slethes seized Rs. 1. 10 crore cash and arrested Keesara Tehsildar, Rampally village Revenue Assistant and two real estate businessmen on Friday. The ACB slethes finding overs Rs. One crore cash in their possession during their raid at A.S. Rao nagar.

ACB found documents from Medchal Malkajgiri Collector’s office in possession of the Tehsildar. Keesara Tehsildar Erra Balaraju Nagaraju, Rampally VRA B. Sairaj, real estate businessmen K. Anji Reddy and Rampally realtor Dayara are the accused. ACB officials conducted a surprise check at the house of Anji Reddy’s friend in A.S. Rao nagar on Friday night. The team also found documents of Revenue Department pertaining to 28 acres 22 guntas of disputed land in Rampally Dayara.

There has been dispute over ownership of that property between two private properties. Local Court directed Revenue officials to settle the issue. Two businessmen trying to offer bribe to Tehsildar to issue proceedings of the land and start developing it, said ACB sources. The ACB searches are being held at Tehsildar’s house at Alwal. ACB is also probing role of other Revenue officials from Medchal Malkajgiri as they found original demand of bribe was Rs. Two crores.
