Veteran singer S.P. Balasubramaniam health remain critical

Chennai: Veteran Playback singer S.P. Balasubramaniam was in a critical condition after his health deteriorated, the private hospital treating him said on Friday.

Singer S.P. Balasubramaniam admitted in MGM hospital on August 5th, when he was tested Covid- 19 +Ve. The 74 year old S.P. Balasubramaniam was on life support in the ICU and currently under the observation by a team of experts from critical care, a health bulletin issued by MGM health care. There has been a setback in the health of Thiru S.P. Balasubramaniam in a late night development on August 13th, his condition deteriorated, said Dr. Anuradha Bhaskaran, MGM healthcare Assistant Director of Medical services.

The hospital had on Friday said he was stable. Based on the advice of the expert medical team attending to him, he has been moved to the ICU and he is on life support and his condition remains critical, she added. S. P. Balasubramaniam admitted with mild symptoms of Covid- 19, is currently under observation by the team of doctors from critical care and “His Hemodynamic and clinical parameters are being closely monitored”.
