Jagan formally commissioned Karapa village Secretariat

Vijayawada: The Government decided to serve the welfare schemes to the beneficiaries at their door steps through Village and Ward Secretariats, said AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

    He formally commissioned the Village Secretariat at Karapa village in Kakinada Rural Mandal in East Godavari district on Wednesday. He unveiled a pylon of Village Secretariat at Karapa. Speaking in a public meeting of commissioning Village Secretariats Jagan said that the Village Secretariat and Village Volunteers would serve the people transparently and non-corrupt.

  The Village and Ward Secretariats will commence full fledge from 1st January 2020. New Ration Cards, new Aarogya Sree cards and new pension will issue to the beneficiaries within 72 hours from 1st January 2020, he said. The Government gave priority to the education, agriculture and medical & health in the rural areas, he said. The Government will bring drastic changes within three years, he said. A 10th class student presented a portrait of Navaratnas with four lakh above Moti’s to Y.S. Jagan, another student presented 2700 paper clippings of his Pada Yatra. Panchayat Raj Minister P. Ramchandra Reddy, Municipal Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, Agriculture Minister K. Kanna Babu, Revenue Minister P. Subash Chandra Bose and Kakinada MP Vanga Geetha participated in the meeting.
