Another lockdown may impose in Telangana within three or four days: KCR

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government thinking to impose lockdown in Greater Hyderabad if needed for atleast 15 days in a bid to contain the rapid spread of Covid- 19. Chief Minister K. Chandra Sekhar Rao reviewed the Covid- 19 situation spreading in the state rapidly and taken a decision to curb the spreading of Covid- 19 is only the way to impose lock down.

After the meeting with health department officers on Sunday CM’s decision on lockdown will announce within two or three days, after another meeting will held on Wednesday. CM KCR reviewed the situation of Covid- 19, with nearly 1K cases everyday and bulk from city. If lockdown is imposed, it should be implemented strictly and totally.

There should be day- long curfew with one or two hour relaxations to buy essentials. The flights and trains have to be stopped. All arrangements should be made by the Government. Hence, we will examine all issues and take a decision, said CM.

State Health Minister Etela said that several medical experts have suggested another 15 day lockdown in GHMC limits to curb the spread of Covid- 19.
