Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Government appointed retired Judge Justice B Seshasayana Reddy’s commission to probe the stampede caused to 11 deaths at Kandukuru in Nellore District and in Guntur district.

The incident of stampede took place in the road show of TDP Supreme Chandrababu Naidu’s tour in Nellore and Guntur districts. They arranged a public meeting in a narrow lane in Kandukuru caused to the death of eight lives. After two days later again a meeting conducted at Guntur district Head Quarter for a distribution of Janata Clothes and essential commodities for the festival Sankranthi in the name of Chandranna Kanuka.

There also a stampede happened with the distribution delay of Chandranna Kanuka kits to the poor who attended in the public meeting. In this stampede three women died and several women received injuries.
