AP CM YS Jagan: h will take swearing-in ceremony will be in Vizag

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that he is going to take swearing-in ceremony at Vizag after post elections.

His second swear-in ceremony as Chief Minister of AP will be held at Vizag after he gets elected in the upcoming elections – 2024. He also asserted that he will stay in Vizag after elections.

YS Jagan in his address at the unveiling of Vision Vizag at the AP Development Dialogue with industrialists and entrepreneurs on Tuesday, he was committed to the development of the city as a global one and a workable roadmap will be chalked out, he said.

YS Jagan alleged that opposition parties and some organizations with vested interests are spitting venom on Visakhapatnam. They were working for future generations, he said. He was not against Amaravati and it will continue as legislative capital.

We are creating necessary infra to develop Visakhapatnam. The Bhogapuram Greenfield International Airport will increase connectivity to the city. This will transform Visakhapatnam as an economic growth engine, he said.

Post bifurcation the Successor State of Andhra Pradesh has been deprived of Hyderabad which prospered due to the location of 90% PSUs such as NMDC, IDPL, and IDFC allocated for the combined AP in the city. Visakhapatnam will be developed on par with Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai to attract investors, he said.
