Melbourne: Australia won ICC Women’s T20 World Cup for the fifth time on Sunday with 85 runs against India. After winning the toss Australia elected bat 1^st and scored 184 runs in their 20 overs.

Australia came out in scintillating fashion with their openers Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney laid the foundation with a 115 runs 1^st wicket partnership in double quick time. Healy scored 75 runs from 39 balls and Beth Mooney scored 78 runs from 54 balls, Later the Indian women all out in 19.1 for only 99 runs.

Alyssa Healy won the Player of the Match, for her score 75 from 39 balls (7×4, 5x 6), Beth Mooney won Player of the Tournament.
