Babri Mazid Demolition Judgement on September 30

Lucknow: Babri Mazid demolition 1992 case judgement will pronounce on September 30, said A CBI court on Wednesday. CBI court special judge SK Yadav directed all the accused, including former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani, to remain present in the court.

The CBI filed a chargesheet in 1993, with the names of 48 accused in the case. Out of 48 accused, 32 of them including Advani, former UP Chief Minister Kalyan Singh, Murali Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharati, Vijay Katiyar, Sadhvi Ritambhara Devi and Ram Mandir Theerta Kshetra Trust Secretary Champat Rai, are facing trial.

The remaining 16 accused, including Bal Thackray and Ashok Singhal died during the courts of trial. Allahabad High Court had pronounced the verdict in Ram Janma Bhoomi-Babri Mazid title suit, 10 years ago, September 30, 2010. The CBI court had heard the final arguments of the defence and prosecution on September 01, 2020, and reserved its judgement.
