Bengaluru: Congress senior leader, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh and other Congress leaders were detained by police near Ramada Resort, Yelahanka on Wednesday, Digvijay Singh and other Congress leaders trying to barge into the resort.

Digvijay Singh filed a petition in Karnataka High Court, seeking a direction for permission to meet the MLAs who were staying at a resort in Bengaluru.  In his Writ petition Digvijay said that he was the candidate for forth coming RS elections and it was his right to seek votes from the voters, who were staying in the resort.
