Hyderabad: Election Commission of India conferred Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar “Best Election Practices Award-2019” for his security management work in the elections conducted by Election Commission in Telangana in 2019. This award conferred to him in the special award category for security management.

Election Commission of India also conferred another award to the Telangana State in general award category “Election Practices Award-2019” to A. Sharat, DEO of Jagityala, Nizamabad district.

Hyderabad CP Anjani Kumar and A. Sharat will receive the prestigious award from President Ram Nath Kovind in New Delhi on Saturday.
