New Delhi: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that his party will not allow lifting away the SC/ ST reservations. Rahul Gandhi said to the media persons on Monday that it is in the DNA of the BJP and RSS to try and erase the reservations.

He said that we will not allow reservation to be done away with, no matter how much Modi or Mohan Bhagwat dream of it. His attack on the ruling party on this issue came over, the Uttarakhand BJP Government contending in the Supreme Court that there was no fundamental right to claim reservation in appointments or promotions in public posts, and there was no constitution duty on the part of the State Governments to provide reservations. The RSS and BJP cannot stand the idea that SC and STs and OBCs have reservations, he said.
