New Delhi: Union Minister for Cultural Affairs G Kishan Reddy on Saturday said that the Central Government will celebrate Telangana Liberation Day on September 17^th officially.

The Ministry of Culture will organize an inaugural programme at Parade Grounds on September 17^th in Hyderabad. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend as a Chief Guest for the event.  Speaking to the media persons Kishan Reddy said that he wrote invitation letters to three Chief Ministers including K Chandrasekhar Rao, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to attend the celebrations.

The Minister said that year long Liberation Day celebrations will be held in regions which were under the rule of Nizam of Hyderabad.
