CID filed cases against former Ministers Narayana, Pulla Rao in insider trading of Amaravathi lands

Amaravathi: The CID booked FIR against the former Ministers P. Narayana, P. Pulla Rao and the Tadikonda Market Yard former Chairman Bellamkonda Narashima Rao in the case of insider trading of lands in Amaravathi.

The CID police registered a case against them on the complaint of Pothuraju Bujji of Venkatapalem Village, on the allegation of forcibly registered an extent of land 0.99 Cents belongs to her, which was given by the Government assignment land. The CID police registered a case against the Minister under the sections of IPC 320, 506, 120 (B) and the SC, ST Atrocities Preventive Act.

CID SP Mary Prasanthi said to the media on Thursday at Mangalagiri that Bellamkonda Narashima Rao created panic in the minds of the poor farmers of SC; ST’s by saying the Government will not offer any compensation to the assignment lands. The women farmer Bujji said that she was afraid of his words and registered the land 0.99 Cents with forcibly. The CID also registered cases against 797 white ration card holders who purchased 761 acres of land in Amaravathi area. The registration of the land value is Rs. 38, 56, 84, 000, she said. The CID police also constituted four teams to investigate the insider trading lands in Amaravathi.
