The AICC In-Charge of the Indian Youth Congress A. Krishna said that the country does not need an NRC, it needs an NRU. He also said that these are the diversionary tactics of the Central Government. It is not focus on jobless which is the highest in the last 45 years.

Youths are committing suicides because of economic recession and massive unemployment. Despite all theses pressing problems, Prime Minister says everything is fine (Saab Changa si) but the youth, women, poor are telling this Government that nothing is fine, he said. Terming the current slowdown as “Modi made Mandi (recession)”, he said. When the world was reeling under recession, India’s economy survived and unemployment was kept under control.

Youth Congress activists protest against the Central Government for not generating enough jobs. The Youth Congress started a missed call campaign requesting those unemployed to call 8151994411 to register on the National Register for Unemployed (NRU). They were demanding NRU instead of NRC.
