Tirupati: Congress party is following the divide and rule politics in the Country and in my family, said Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

While interacting with the India Today’s journalist Rajdeep Sardesai on Wednesday, second day of India Today Education Conclave Summit at Tirupati. YS Jagan said that the Congress is playing dirty politics in the country in the form of divide and rule policy. The Congress divide the erstwhile AP State and in my family also.

When I left Congress party after my father’s demise, they field my uncle Late YS Vivekananda Reddy against my mother in Pulivendula. Now they again trying to divide and rule policy in my family by appointing my sister YS Sharmila as APCC Chief.

In my 56 months ruling in AP I worked for the upliftment of poor and depressed sections with the welfare schemes of Navaratnas. I fulfilled 99% of my 2019 election manifesto promises. I was strived for the women empowerment through Aasara Scheme, self help groups, Amma vodi cheyutha etc.

As well as I brought radical changes in the villages by establishing sachivalaya vyavasta, RBKs, village clinics etc. and also I implemented rapid development and changes in the education system by introducing English Medium in the government schools and also providing basic eminities to the schools in the name of Nadu-Nedu.

My government distributed 2.73 Lakh crores through DBT for the welfare schemes in the state through various schemes.
